Our recent week in Kerala left us refreshed, revitalized, recharged, and ...awed.
Whoever coined the term 'God's Own Country' to describe Kerala was certainly divinely inspired. As was the Good Lord when he edged a curving crescent of green land with aquamarine waters and criss-crossed it with silvery streams and gentle hills. And if this stunning visual beauty is not enough, there's abundant bounty too, from the land - fragrant spices, cashew and coconuts, and the sea.
We are fortunate enough to have traveled to quite a few places across the globe, and have some memorable holidays to treasure. But this Kerala trip will be very-very special, largely because the impeccable arrangements made everything so pleasing. Over 8 days we traveled to 7 locations, by air, and road, and water, and every transfer was smooth, every hotel charming and comfortable, with smiling, helpful people everywhere.
